This the hair era I cam up in.. before sew-ins..
This the hair era I cam up in.. before sew-ins..

Well hey y’all! 👋🏾

Welcome to EYH Revelations—where the tea is hot, the edges are laid, and the truth about Black hair gets told with love and a little bit of lip gloss.

This ain’t no bougie hair blog full of folks who just went natural last Tuesday. Naw baby, I been in this game over 20 years. I done fried, dyed, laid to the side, and brought folks' hair back from the dead more times than I can count. From the press-n-curl to the pineapple puff—I done seen it all.

This here is a safe space for us to talk about:

  • How hair really grows (cause it’s more than rice water, baby)

  • What styles actually last through humidity and haters

  • Why this new shampoo cost more than my light bill

  • Which products do what they say and which ones just smell cute

  • And most importantly… how our hair makes us feel

Now I ain't gon’ lie to ya—I’mma try to post once or twice a week, but if I get busy doing silk presses or catching up on “Judge Mathis,” just know I’m coming back, okay? 😅

Sometimes it'll be blogs, sometimes videos, maybe even a lil’ podcast if my spirit leads me. We gon’ laugh, learn, and probably talk about that one time your twist-out turned into a wash day emergency. It’s all love.

And YES—an app is on the way so you can keep up while you're under the dryer or sittin' in traffic on I-24. I'm even diggin' through the archives to find pics from my Jackson State hair-slayin’ era—back when I was using spritz like holy water.

So go ahead and scroll on to the next post and find out what EYH really stands for. Spoiler alert: it’s more than just hair—it’s a whole movement.

Thanks for stoppin' by, sugar. You’re family now. 💛
